Et godt hotell å bo på når du reiser med barn

Vi har bodd på dette hotellet to ganger nå, og hver gang hatt med oss barnebarn i alderen 3 - 6 år. Hotellet er super barnevennlig, noe som begynner med at barna får utdelt en liten pose med...

Vi har bodd på dette hotellet to ganger nå, og hver gang hatt med oss barnebarn i alderen 3 - 6 år. Hotellet er super barnevennlig, noe som begynner med at barna får utdelt en liten pose med tegnesaker, isbillett osv ved ankomst. Videre kan barna bestille pannekaker til frokost. Hotellet ligger to minutters gange fra en stor park med en godt utstyrt lekepark. Samtidig er hotellet et godt utgangspunkt for besøk i Gamla Linkøping, Astrid Lindgrens Verden og Kolmården dyrepark. Hotellet har gode senger, et vennlig og forekommende personale og holder generelt god kvalitet. Vi kommer garantert tilbake neste gang våre reiser fører oss til Linkøping.

Nice staff, breakfast ok, gym very good included in the cost of the hotel (it s in front of the hotel in an other street in a private structure, you get a voucher) but it s time to refresh the rooms...

Nice staff, breakfast ok, gym very good included in the cost of the hotel (it s in front of the hotel in an other street in a private structure, you get a voucher) but it s time to refresh the rooms, the bathroom. The location is great, no doubt. Only some walking minutes from the central Linkoping.

Now, first of all, the hotel landscape in Linköping leaves a lot to request. Quality Hotel Ekoxen is the fifth hotel I've tried in the town. It prices itself roughly on par with other central business oriented hotels such as Elite or Scandic but it does not excel in any aspect. Check-in staff is friendly and efficient. The rooms, which are rather small, feel stuck in the eighties and seem tailored for senior citizens. The adjustable bed was a nice touch but added to the feel of myself being a patient at a hospital rather than a customer at a hotel. The bathroom had a sliding door and was well lit but in all other aspects did not surprise. The shower had a fabric curtain which I am not a big fan of. The breakfast offered a standard scandinavian selection which once again did not offer any surprises. The breakfast room itself lacks in atmosphere and does not make you want to linger longer than necessary. I will keep looking for other accommodation in Linköping - in the hotels defense I have to say that the competition does not offer that many advantages.

We just spent one night on your way to Stockholm. Really nice welcome from the reception and excellent breakfast buffet. The hotel is siuted in the center. We can highly recommand this hotel! ........
