GLO Hotel Sello

Jeg var der bare fra midnatt til syv om morgenen, men alt var helt fint. God seng, god dusj, god frokost. Betalte rundt 700 kroner for overnattingen, så veldig bra verdi for pengene. Kan gjerne bo der igjen.

We had a meeting with a possible companion, who did a presentation of his plan to succeed. It is a plan for several years and the target is to do a business transaction after 4-5 years. It was so interesting that we today decided to continue to explore his suggestions.

GLO Hotel Sello offers nice accommodation in the heart of Espoo. It is in a shopping mall, at the railway station. Easy to reach everywhere in the area of the Finnish capital city of Helsinki. Reception personnel wished you welcome in a very friendly manner, and the service was all in all professional. The room is a bit small for my taste but very clean and nicely decorated. Good quality bed suitable for taller and/or heavier persons. The Scandinavian buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of warm and cold eats.

Very welcoming hotel close to a shopping centre which is always a bonus. The bed was extremely comfortable although the room itself was small. Bathroom was a decent size and the shower was powerful with plentiful hot water. Breakfast was a good reflection of Finnish hospitality with local produce. I was on the 7th floor so very quiet with a good view from the window. Great stay.

We stayed here for two nights with my Nordic Choice points. As a Nordic Choice platinum member, we were upgraded to the best room category which is GLO Luxe. We got a top 8th-floor corner room that has the best views. On arrival, there were chocolates and a welcome card waiting on the desk. Also, I got two 13-euro platinum restaurant vouchers. We have stayed many times in these corner rooms but never on the top floor. It was a pleasant surprise that this room had just a shower without a bathtub. It was much easier to have a shower. There is not a significant size difference between Luxe and Comfort rooms but Luxe rooms are corner rooms or located on the top floor. Also, bathrobes and slippers are included. The minibar was empty but that was not a problem for us coming directly from a Tallinn cruise. Also, you can buy drinks from the lobby bar. And Sello shopping center is located next to the hotel. The restaurant was closed but you could buy tapas and drinks from the lobby bar. We could use my platinum vouchers there. The service was very top level. The breakfast had not the widest food selection but it was enough for us. It was pleasantly calm on both mornings.
